Shoplifting in Progress — Free Shirt Giveaway: Official Rules

This Promotion is operated by VERY VERY COOL PTY LTD, trading as SHIRTZ.COOL ("we", "us").

1. The promotion

To enter into this Promotion, players must sign up an account with us and complete a winning run in Shoplifting in Progress (reaching the mall exit / victory state) (Entrants). Entrants will be issued a claim number, and are eligible to claim one (1) free Shoplifting t-shirt valued at $60 each, subject to the conditions below.

This Promotion applies to the web-app version of Shoplifting in Progress only. Wins achieved in any other version of the game (including mobile app store or desktop storefront releases) are not eligible for a shirt claim.

This is a game of skill. A winning run is achieved solely through player ability; chance plays no part in determining a winner. No purchase is necessary to play or to win.

2. Eligibility

  • The giveaway is open only to residents of countries we currently ship to. We do not ship to Brazil or Russia. For the full list of eligible countries, see SHIRTZ.COOL.

  • Claimants must have a valid shipping address in an eligible country. Shirts will not be shipped to freight forwarders, parcel-forwarding services, or PO boxes used to circumvent shipping restrictions.

  • Claimants must sign in with a valid account to claim. Claims cannot be made anonymously.

  • Entrants under 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) must have permission from a parent or guardian to claim, as shipping requires a name and address. The parent or guardian of the Entrant must read and consent to these terms, and we may require them to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this Promotion.

3. Claim limits

  • Maximum of one (1) shirt per person, per account, and per shipping address, for the lifetime of the Promotion.

  • Attempting to claim multiple shirts through duplicate accounts, addresses, or devices will void all associated claims.

4. Promotion period and stock

  • The Promotion will start on 15 September 2026 12:00AM AEST and runs while stocks last. There is no fixed end date; the Promotion ends automatically when allocated shirt stock for the promotion is exhausted.

  • The number of shirts remaining may be displayed in-game. This figure is indicative and stock is only guaranteed once a claim has been approved.

  • Claims expire 14 days after issue. Expired claims are void and the reserved shirt is returned to the available pool.

  • Stock-runout protection: if you achieve a valid winning run while the game displays the Promotion as active (i.e. before we have officially ended the Promotion due to low stock), but you are unable to complete your claim because stock has run out, you will instead receive store credit to the value of the shirt's retail price (as listed on SHIRTZ.COOL at the time of your win).

5. Legitimate wins only

  • We reserve the right to refuse, withhold, or revoke a shirt claim if we believe, in our sole discretion, that a run was cheated, gamed, automated, exploited, or otherwise inauthentic in any way. This includes but is not limited to: modified game clients, memory editing, macros or bots, exploiting bugs, tampering with run data, or statistically implausible run metrics.

  • All winning runs are validated server-side. A win reported by the game client alone does not guarantee eligibility.

  • Our decision on the validity of a run is final.

6. The prize

  • The total prize pool is valued at $60,000 at the commencement of the Promotion and includes Shoplifting in Progress t-shirts, in the winner's choice of available colour and size, subject to availability. 

  • The total value of the prize pool will reduce progressively throughout the Promotion by the value of each t-shirt sold separately during the Promotion. The value of the prize pool available to be won will depend on the number of t-shirts sold at the time of the draw.

  • We will use reasonable efforts to ship and deliver the prize within three (3) months of the date the claim is approved (comprising approximately one month for shipment and a further two months for delivery). Should circumstances outside our control occur, which cause a delay in delivery of the Prize, we will not be liable.  

  • All shipping costs are covered by us. However, we cannot be held responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other charges levied by your country on receipt — these are the responsibility of the recipient.

  • The prize is not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may not be resold. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the shirt becomes unavailable.

7. Personal information

  • We collect your name, email address, and shipping address solely to fulfil the shirt claim. This information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Claim details may be shared with our fulfilment partners for delivery purposes only.

  • Minors: if you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), a parent or guardian must complete the claim on your behalf and consent to the collection of the shipping details required to fulfil it. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from minors. If we become aware that a claim containing a minor's personal information was submitted without parental consent, we will cancel the claim and delete the associated data. Parents or guardians may contact us at any time to request access to, or deletion of, information provided as part of a claim.

8. General conditions

  • We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or end the Promotion at any time if it cannot be run as intended (e.g. fraud, technical failure, stock issues). Valid claims made before any change will be honoured.

  • Incomplete or ineligible entries, as well as entries that breach these terms, will not be valid. We reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant or winner.

  • If a dispute arises as to the identity of an online Entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorised account holder of the email address. We may ask any Entrant to provide us with proof that they are the authorised account holder of the email address associated with the entry.

  • We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected shipments once handed to the carrier, or for incorrect address details supplied by the claimant.

  • Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify any legislation which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable State or Territory legislation

  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, a reference in these terms or in any advertisement relating to us, to Australian dollars, dollars, AUD$ or $ is a reference to the lawful currency of Australia.

  • If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, we may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.

  • These rules are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. This Promotion is void where prohibited by law.

  • By claiming a shirt, you agree to these rules.
