Backorders

Backorders allow us to manage large restocks by opening up orders on stock that is still en route to our warehouse. When you place an order containing a product on backorder, it means the stock is due to arrive at our warehouse shortly after our launch date. While this means it will be a little longer before your order is dispatched, it allows you to order multiple restocked products in one go, rather than having to wait and/or order separately.

We provide an estimation of when the stock is meant to be ready to ship on the product page, in your order confirmation email, and in a post-purchase email.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that dates may be subject to change, due to circumstances beyond our control such as shipment delays or high volume dispatch delays.

ESTIMATED DISPATCH TIME

Current backorder products include The Bee Hoodie and The Warden Hoodie. These are due to arrive at our warehouse in mid-March, and will be dispatched by the end of March.

Once the stock is available and your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. If there are extended delays, we will email you to keep you updated.

Please note, 'shipping date', 'dispatch date' and 'fulfilment date' refer to the date your order leaves our warehouse, not the date you will receive your order.

ORDERS CONTAINING IN-STOCK ITEMS

If you place an order containing a backorder item and in-stock item, the in-stock item will be put aside, so your entire order can be sent when the backorder stock is ready to ship. We highly recommend placing two separate orders if you would prefer earlier shipment of in-stock items.

FAQ

WHY CAN'T YOU SPLIT MY ORDER?

Our delivery partners calculate shipping fees based on various factors, including item weight, size, and other considerations. Each delivery also incurs a booking fee. These are calculated at checkout. For this reason, we ship orders once all items in the order are ready for dispatch. Splitting an order involves extra costs and calculations, and due to the high demand, we do not have the capacity to allow for orders to be split, even if you are willing to pay the extra shipping costs.

HOW COME I ORDERED SO QUICKLY YET I STILL GOT A BACKORDERED PRODUCT?

During restocks and new drops, we receive an insane amount of orders in a very short amount of time. We use automated systems to allocate inventory, which means once available stock sells out, it switches to backorder automatically. So while you were very quick, so were many many others. Out of fairness to our customers, we cannot prioritise certain orders over others, even if requested.

WHAT IF I ORDERED WITH EXPRESS SHIPPING?

Express Shipping refers to the shipping method, not the dispatch time. Once your order is fulfilled, it will be shipped using an express service, meaning it will spend less time with the postal service. It does not mean your order will be sent before others, or earlier than estimated backorder fulfilment dates. Please be mindful of this if you are selecting Express Shipping to receive your order by a certain date.

WHY IS MY BACKORDER DELAYED?

Production delays: We work with multiple manufacturers to produce our garments. These factories may experience unforeseen circumstances which could cause a change in our production timeline. These circumstances include but are not limited to supply shortages or events which impact staffing (i.e extreme weather, industrial action, sickness, national holidays).

Shipping and customs delays: Weather, national holidays, industrial actions, strikes or unpredictable events can cause shipping delays. Customs delays can sometimes prevent shipments arriving to our warehouse on schedule. These types of events can also affect shipments from our warehouse to our customers.

Please kindly note that we have no control over when a backordered item arrives, but instead offer estimates. Our ETAs typically allow ample time and leeway for minor delays. We genuinely try our best to fulfil orders as soon as they are received, however variables such as the above can cause delays.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or compensation on backorders due to change of mind or disappointment caused by delays which are out of our control as mentioned above.
